German tank repair center is inaugurated by Rheinmetall in Ukraine.

German tanks are undergoing repair at a new facility in western Ukraine, run by arms manufacturer Rheinmetall. Details about the extent of the work on Marder infantry fighting vehicles were shared in Düsseldorf on Tuesday.

German tank repair center is inaugurated by Rheinmetall in Ukraine.

A support facility was recently established by the German-Ukrainian joint venture Rheinmetall Ukrainian Defense Industry in October. This news was greeted enthusiastically by Ukrainian Minister for Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamyschin, who considered it not only a step toward Ukraine's victory but also a significant landmark in the development of the Free World's arsenal.

Armin Papperger, the CEO of Rheinmetall, expressed his feeling that providing effective and dependable aid to Ukraine was a cause dear to their hearts. They prioritize fast delivery and availability of spare parts above all else.

Ukraine has already received 100 Marder tanks from Germany. Moreover, Leopard 1 and Leopard 2 tanks are either already available or have been promised. It's said that other German weapons systems might be fixed at different Ukrainian locations.
