DB passengers will discover during the European Championship if they're currently in the homebase of a German national footballer. The German Railway plans to put up signs at the stations of these players' hometowns, who are coached by national coach Julien Nagelsmann. This was disclosed by a DB spokesperson in response to a dpa inquiry on Wednesday. As part of the "Homes of Football Stars" campaign, 24 railway stations in Germany are set to get these signs. This was initially reported by "Stuttgarter Nachrichten".

In Endersbach, where defender Nico Schlotterbeck hails from, a sign has already been put up. These signs can already be spotted at 11 railway stations, such as Greifswald (Toni Kroos), Berlin (Antonio Rüdiger), Hamburg-Altona (Jonathan Tah), and Stuttgart (Jamal Musiala). The remaining stations will supposedly get their player signs from the DB in the coming days.

The railway is contemplating more actions and deals for travelers throughout the EM. "Our 150,000 staff have been working towards this football summer for several months," said DB customer long-distance traffic board member, Michael Peterson.
