During the European Football Championship, the German Railway (Deutsche Bahn) will increase their staff presence in Frankfurt. This will be seen at the main station, airport station, and Frankfurt stadium station on match days, according to a statement released on Friday.
To help spectators navigate their way around, multilingual passenger guides and volunteers will be available, offering support to fans. Additionally, DB employees will assist in directing fans to and from the main station and airport station.
The B level of the main station will be opened, creating a seamless connection to the trains or public viewing area in the city. While still under construction, the B level is usually closed for these purposes. Guiding marks will be set up to aid in navigation.
A digital luggage locker system will be implemented at platform 24 of the main station. Extra cleaning staff will be on-site as well. "Technical teams are on standby 24/7 to promptly fix any issues with escalators and elevators," the railway mentioned.
