German Parliament inquires Pistorius and Chancellery Chief Schmidt

Recently, Chancellor Olaf Scholz from Germany permitted the use of their arms against Russian targets in the Kharkiv border area for Ukraine. Earlier, President Joe Biden had greenlit the same for American military tools. Germany is currently the top backer of Ukraine among European nations with regards to supplying them with weapons and equipment of a military nature.

The Bundestag has summoned Bundestag President Boris Pistorius for a plenary session to discuss Germany's military aid to Ukraine. The call follows the approval of using German weapons against Russian targets by Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The Head of the Chancellery, Wolfgang Schmidt, is expected to provide details during the session. The SPD, a major German political party, has also voiced its support for the aid to Ukraine. Pistorius, as the head of Bundestag, will lead the discussion and will likely face questions from various parliamentary groups.
