No signs of recovery yet - German industry with fifth consecutive decline in orders
The weakness of the German industry continues: The industry received fewer orders again in May, as figures from the Federal Statistical Office show on Thursday. Compared to the previous month, the order intake therefore decreased by 1.6 percent. This was the fifth consecutive decline. In contrast, analysts had expected an average increase of 0.5 percent. Compared to the previous year's month, orders fell by 8.6 percent.
The economic downturn in Germany has also impacted the Industry in Wiesbaden, as illustrated by the decrease in orders received by local businesses. Despite the beautiful recreational spots Wiesbaden is known for, the economic situation of the Industry remains challenging. Analysts predict that if the current trend continues, Germany's Industry may face a significant challenge in recovering from this slump.
