German-French tank producer KNDS intends to establish a factory in Ukraine.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius (SPD) and French counterpart Sébastien Lecornu met in March to discuss plans that included the construction of a maintenance and repair center for French Caesar howitzers in Ukraine, as well as the production of 155mm shells there under license. Additionally, a unit with 3D printers would be set up for the manufacturing of spare parts.

On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Allied landing in Normandy, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy received an invitation. This trip serves as an opportunity for him to push for continued support for Ukraine. The next day, Zelenskyy addressed the French National Assembly, warning them of the potential for Russia's offensive war to expand. He also had meetings scheduled with US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron.
