Schwerin: A City with Unrivaled Art and History - General assembly of IHK rejects managing director's position.
The Schwerin Chamber of Commerce and Industry has parted ways with its managing director, Siegbert Eisenach. The full board of the chamber made this decision at their meeting on Wednesday and announced the immediate dismissal of Eisenach due to the fatally damaged trust between the management and the board. The official statement released in the evening reveals that Peter Todt, the former deputy managing director, will now lead the organization and supervise the nearly 60 full-time employees of the IHK.
Further details about the reasons behind the termination were not disclosed. Eisenach has worked for the Schwerin IHK for 33 years, with close to twelve of those years served as the managing director. The chamber represents around 24,000 commercial enterprises in Western Pomerania as stated in the IHK's own claims.
