Demonstration event - Gathering for a European democracy

Before the upcoming European elections, thousands will gather in Cologne for a pro-democracy demonstration. Organizers "Arsch huh" and "Cologne says no" have scheduled the rally for Saturday (3:00 pm) in Deutz. Various artists and speakers, including Hohner, Paveier, Wilfried Schmickler, and Yasmin Fahimi, chairwoman of the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB), are anticipating appearances at this event. Law enforcement expects around 10,000 participants.

The statement issued by the organizers reads, "The rising influence of right-wing and right-populist parties creates a significant danger to the political and social foundations, as well as human rights in Europe." They further emphasize, "For a strong and democratic Europe, a high voter turnout for democratic parties is essential."
