Accident - Gas cylinder on an 82-year-old man's heater catches fire
In the home of an 82-year-old man, the new, filled cylinder burst into flames when a gas cylinder was replaced on the heater. According to the police, a hose was not fitted correctly, which caused too much gas to spread in the apartment in Trossingen (Tuttlingen district) on Monday morning. When the gas heater was switched on, the cylinder caught fire. A neighbor heard the 82-year-old homeowner's cries for help and carried the gas cylinder out of the house with him. The emergency services extinguished the fire and took the two men to hospital for medical treatment.
