Exhibitions - Garden show in Bad Nenndorf to open in April 2026
The next State Garden Show in Lower Saxony will open in Bad Nenndorf on April 22, 2026. The opening day will be celebrated with an official ceremony, numerous activities and an atmospheric supporting program, as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Landesgartenschau Bad Nenndorf gGmbH, Mike Schmidt, explained in a press release on Tuesday. "This will be a great day for Bad Nenndorf and the entire region - and it's just the start of six great months." The Supervisory Board had previously decided on the exact dates for the start and end of the event on Monday evening. The Landesgartenschau will close on October 18.
In January 2022, Lower Saxony's state government awarded the hosting of the seventh State Garden Show to the spa town in the Schaumburg region. The 180-day garden festival is entitled "Diversity blooms here". As many colorful spring flowers as possible should be on display at the start in April. In the coming weeks, the organizers now want to finalize the exhibition concept, among other things.
Around 425,000 visitors attended the last State Garden Show in Bad Gandersheim this year until mid-October. This was slightly fewer visitors than expected. The organizers were nevertheless satisfied.
