Fürth with next home win: Sieb and Hrgota score
SpVgg Greuther Fürth continue to make progress in the 2nd Bundesliga thanks to their home strength. The club from Franconia won 2:0 (1:0) at home against newly promoted SV Wehen Wiesbaden on Sunday. Coach Alexander Zorniger's team moved up to fifth place in the table with their sixth home win in eight games. The gap to the promotion relegation places and Holstein Kiel is two points. Armindo Sieb (20th minute) and Branimir Hrgota (84th) scored the goals for Fürth, who celebrated their fourth successive win.
The duel between coach friends Zorniger and Markus Kauczinski was very exciting for a long time. Fürth got off to the better start after Wiesbaden lost possession in midfield.
