Traffic - Full closure: Truck on fire on A9 near Bitterfeld-Wolfen
A truck caught fire early Friday morning on the Autobahn 9 near Bitterfeld-Wolfen (Anhalt-Bitterfeld district). No one was injured, according to a police spokesperson. The articulated truck and trailer burned out completely. Both the load and all three lanes were severely damaged. Emergency services extinguished the fire, the cause of the fire and the amount of damage was unclear in the morning. The lane in the direction of Berlin was reportedly fully closed. It was not yet clear how long the closure would last.
