The A8 between the Pforzheim-Süd and Pforzheim-Nord junctions will remain fully closed in both directions over the weekend due to the "six-lane expansion A8/Enztalquerung" construction project. According to a police spokesman, the detour routes were very busy on Saturday, but there were no major problems. Only the breakdown of a truck on one of the routes had briefly caused obstructions. The closure began at 8 p.m. on Friday. The A8 is due to reopen in this area at around 5 a.m. on Monday.
