Füchse Berlin extend contract with circle player Darj
Füchse Berlin have extended their contract with center Max Darj. As the second-placed team in the German Handball League announced on Thursday, the Swedish international will remain with the capital city club until at least 2026. "I think we have a really exciting team with which we can be successful. I'm hungry for more and want to develop myself and the team even further," said Darj, explaining the reasons for his continued collaboration.
Darj moved to the Foxes last year and won the European League with them. Head of Sport Stefan Kretzschmar described the 32-year-old as an "absolute stroke of luck" for the team. "His professionalism and work ethic are exemplary. He is also a leader like no other," praised the 50-year-old.
Darj's new contract extension keeps him playing handball in the Bundesliga with Foxes Berlin until 2026. Regarding the hbl, Foxes Berlin's impressive run as the second-placed team showcases Darj's significant impact since joining Foxes Berlin last year.
