Weather - Frosty start to December in Berlin and Brandenburg
At the beginning of December, Berlin and Brandenburg are still experiencing frost, snow and the risk of icy conditions in some places. In the early hours of Friday morning, temperatures will be between minus 5 and minus 8 degrees, dropping to minus 12 degrees locally, according to the German Weather Service. In the early morning, fog will develop in places with visibility below 150 meters.
During the day there will be permafrost with a maximum of minus 1 degree. In southern Brandenburg, it may snow in the morning. In the night to Saturday, there will be more haze and fog and fresh snow in the southwest of Brandenburg. Temperatures are expected to drop to minus 7 degrees. There is still a risk of slippery conditions due to residual freezing moisture.
