It will remain wintry in Thuringia on Sunday: There will be frost, localized icy conditions and the possibility of light snowfall until midday on the first day of Advent, according to the German Weather Service (DWD). Up to three centimeters of fresh snow is possible. Maximum temperatures will be between minus two and plus one degree, in the mountains between minus five and zero degrees.
In the night to Monday, temperatures will drop to minus six degrees. Monday is expected to remain cloudy and dry, with temperatures similar to Sunday. It may snow locally from the evening onwards. According to the DWD, it may rain occasionally on Tuesday, with slightly milder temperatures of zero to four degrees, around zero degrees in the mountains.
