Weather - Frost and light snowfall in Saxony-Anhalt
Snowflakes and icy roads: The First Advent will be wintry in Saxony-Anhalt. In addition to frost and locally icy conditions, it may snow lightly until midday on Sunday, according to the German Weather Service (DWD). Up to three centimetres of fresh snow are possible. After that, it will clear up from the north. Maximum temperatures will be between minus two and plus one degree, in the Harz Mountains between minus five and zero degrees.
On Monday night, temperatures will drop to minus six degrees. Monday will be cloudy and mostly dry, with temperatures similar to Sunday. It will snow locally from the evening. According to the DWD, it may rain occasionally on Tuesday, with slightly milder temperatures of zero to four degrees, around zero degrees in the Harz Mountains.
