Each soldier's demise is equivalent to losing a beloved family member, expressed Graciela Barchilon to news agency AFP. The collective sorrow we feel is palpable, she explained. As per official records, since the initiation of Israeli ground troops' incursion into the Gaza Strip on October 27, a total of 306 soldiers have perished.
The Gaza War was initiated by Hamas' massive offensive against Israel on October 7, resulting, according to Israeli reports, in the death of 1194 people and the capture of 251 individuals within the Gaza Strip.
In response, Israel has been waging a heavy military campaign in the Gaza Strip since then. Reports from the Hamas-governed health ministry, which cannot be independently validated, indicate a death toll of over 37,290 people to date.
