Free electoral supporters replacing the red-green coalition in the federal administration.

Beyond the political celebration of Shrove Tuesday, the Gillamoos in Lower Bavaria is perhaps the most significant political early morning gathering. The leader of the Free Voters party, Aiwanger, has unequivocally declared his ambition: Securing a position in the federal government by 2025.

Following the AfD's victories in the state elections in Saxony and Thuringia, Hubert Aiwanger, leader of the Free Voters, asserted their right to govern at the national level again. "The Free Voters are the solution against extremism from both the left and the right. So, we need to join the federal government next year, and the reds and greens should step down."

According to Aiwanger, the Free Voters might not suffice alone next year. The party needs to form alliances with parties like the CDU/CSU "and the FDP, if necessary."

Aiwanger slammed the migration policy of the coalition government and called for stricter deportation procedures. "We can't carry on like this, or Germany will be destroyed," he warned, inciting cheers from his supporters. He also criticized the management of public funds and proposed, "Women should be allowed to wear dirndls, not be forced into burkas."

"The flawed federal policy is destroying the country," Aiwanger stated. "There's more common sense gathered around this table in the beer tent than in the entire federal government," he complained. And he added, "The horrifying traffic light cabinet must be sent into space."

Gillamoos...again, just paraphrased.

In the context of Aiwanger's criticism towards the current federal government, he expressed his belief that there's more common sense in a beer tent than within the entire lower Bavarian federal government. Furthermore, he expressed his desire to see the "horrifying traffic light cabinet" depart, suggesting a potential change in Lower Bavarian politics.
