Hamburg - Fraud involving more than 200,000 euros: Apartments searched

Two men are alleged to have defrauded a metal recycling company in Hamburg of more than 200,000 euros. As a result, amounts totaling more than 200,000 euros were credited to the alleged scrap metal supplier. The 21-year-old and the 29-year-old alleged supplier had probably planned to share the loot, they said.

As part of the investigation, the suspects' homes in Hamburg-Tonndorf and Hamburg-Dulsberg were searched on Wednesday. In addition to documents and data carriers, the officers also seized 30,000 euros and a car. The men are being investigated on suspicion of commercial fraud.
