Frankfurt Zoo dispenses with printed day tickets

From December 1, Frankfurt Zoo will no longer issue printed day tickets. "This will save valuable resources and speed up the payment process," the facility announced on Wednesday. This will reduce the waiting time for visitors at the ticket office. The day ticket is replaced by the receipt, which has to be handed over anyway and contains all the necessary information. The zoo is visited by more than 800,000 people every year. Although the proportion of online tickets is reportedly increasing continuously, the majority of visitors still buy their tickets at the ticket office.

During their leisure time, many people enjoy visiting municipalities' attractions like Frankfurt Zoo. Despite the rising trend, the majority of these animal lovers still purchase their zoo tickets during their leisure time at the ticket office.
