On a Wednesday night, the eastern stretch of the Föhringer Bridge was covered in the colors of all 24 participating nations during a spectacular light show over the Main River. The show was accompanied by original soccer sounds and musical interludes. The iconic "You'll Never Walk Alone" anthem of football was played in various renditions, with the vocals provided live by Frankfurt singer Julie Kuhl. Thousands gathered along the Main, captivated by this amazing spectacle ahead of the official start of the tournament on Friday (Germany vs. Scotland).
Starting Friday afternoon (13:00), the Frankfurt Main riverbank will host a Fan Zone that spans over 1.4 kilometers, offering ten large screens and a floating 'Big Screen' to watch all 51 games of the EM. On days without matches, the Fan Zone will provide entertainment through concerts, comedy shows, and even a floating soccer field. Admission is free. Recently, the organizers clarified that consuming cannabis in the Fan Zone is forbidden.
