Frozen puck game - Frankfurt Lions acquire Finnish national ice hockey goaltender
The Frankfurt Lions have scored a big win in the transfer market. This top German ice hockey club has signed the Finnish national goalkeeper Jussi Olkinuora. He is a 33-year-old Olympic champion and a two-time world champion who played for the Swiss top club, Genève-Servette HC, last season. Their collaboration resulted in winning the Champions Hockey League. The Frankfurt Lions announced his two-year contract on Thursday.
Daniel Heinrizi, their sports director, praised the acquisition, "We managed to secure the goalkeeper we've been dreaming of.
