Equestrian sport - Frankfurt horse show: Isabell Werth second at the start
Dressage ace Isabell Werth was narrowly beaten at the start of the international Frankfurt Festhalle horse show. The 54-year-old from Rheinberg was awarded 73.217 percent in the Grand Prix on Friday with her mare Super B. The winner, Katharina Hemmer from Borchen, received 73.826 percent. The 29-year-old had her successful horse Denoix under the saddle, with whom she recently came third in the Grand Prix Special at the tournament in Stuttgart. Third place went to Ingrid Klimke (Münster) with First Class (70.826). The highlights of the 50th edition of the Frankfurt show are the Grand Prix Special on Saturday and the freestyle on Sunday.
