- Frankfurt faces a cup challenge in Braunschweig.

Eintracht Frankfurt commences their DFB Cup journey against Eintracht Braunschweig on Monday (8:45 PM/ARD and Sky). The squad led by goalkeeper and fresh captain Kevin Trapp will face the second division team without their new acquisition Arthur Theate. The Belgian Euro participant, previously from Stade Rennes, is anticipated to join the squad for the league debut against Borussia Dortmund next Saturday.

The first match for Eintracht Frankfurt in the DFB Cup is numbered as their encounter against Eintracht Braunschweig. Despite Arthur Theate's absence, the team is optimistic, as he is expected to join for the league debut against Borussia Dortmund.
