Frank Stronach must answer for his actions in court

Attempted rape, sexual assault and freedom deprivation: Ten women have filed serious charges against Frank Stronach in Canada. The billionaire entrepreneur and Austrian-Canadian, Frank Stronach, must appear in court in Canada due to allegations of misconduct from ten women. According to court documents, Stronach, who is 91 years old, is facing 13 charges, including attempted rape, sexual assault, and freedom deprivation. He was reportedly arrested twice and released on bail both times. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 8, 2023.

The documents suggest that the allegations of attempted rape date back to 1977. The alleged victims accuse Stronach of rape and sexual assault in the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s. Some of the incidents reportedly occurred in Toronto, while others took place in Aurora, Canada, where Stronach's former company Magna International had its headquarters.

According to reports, Stronach allegedly committed further sexual assaults against women in April 2023 and February of this year. Initially, three women came forward, but seven more joined after the police made the initial allegations public. Stronach's lawyer, Brian Greenspan, issued a statement on his behalf, denying the allegations and stating that he would "vigorously" defend himself in court.

Born in Austria, Stronach immigrated to Canada in 1954 and founded Magna, the automotive supplier, in 1957, which grew into a global conglomerate. At the age of 80, he relinquished control of the company and returned to Austria to run for parliament with his own, Eurosceptic party in the 2013 elections. After disappointing results, he returned to Canada only a year later, where he has lived ever since.

Despite Stronach's economic success in Canada, with Magna International becoming a global conglomerate, his personal life has been marred by serious allegations. These allegations include charges of rape and sexual assault, some of which date back to the 1980s, in both Toronto and Aurora. recent incidents have also been reported in 2023 and early this year, resulting in additional charges against him in Canada. Furthermore, his billionaire status has not shielded him from these legal processes involving allegations of misconduct.
