Crime - Four seriously injured in a fight in Cottbus
Four men have been seriously injured in Cottbus in a fight involving stabbing weapons. Six men of Afghan and two of Syrian nationality, aged between 19 and 64, were involved in the dispute on Saturday evening and were provisionally arrested, a police spokesman said on Sunday. Four of those involved had suffered stab wounds and were taken to hospital. The cause of the dispute in the Cottbus district of Sandow was initially unclear. Witnesses had alerted the police on Saturday evening. According to their statements, sticks were also used in the altercation.
