Four people were lightly injured in a fire at a multi-family building in Magdeburg. The fire broke out in the basement of the building on Friday, the fire department reported. According to the report, rescue workers saved five people, including a baby, and two dogs using a turntable ladder. Four people were taken to the hospital with minor smoke inhalation, a police spokesman said.

The fire spread rapidly, destroying several items in the basement. Despite the intense heat, firefighters managed to extinguish the flame, preventing further damage.
