Customs - Four carol singers from Colditz travel to the Federal Chancellor
Four children from the Catholic parish of St. Raphael in Colditz will travel to Berlin in January as carol singers and visit Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD). The girls and boys were drawn by lot and will represent the Diocese of Dresden-Meißen with Father Andreas Leuschner at the carol singers' reception, as the diocese announced on Thursday. A total of 108 kings and queens from all 27 German dioceses will travel to Berlin at the beginning of January. The children will be collecting donations as part of the Epiphany carol service, the motto of which is "Together for our planet - in Amazonia and worldwide".
