- Four accidents in the construction area on A7

Within an hour, four traffic accidents occurred on the A7 near Seesen (district of Goslar). In these accidents, three people were injured, as reported by the police. At a construction site near the Rhüden interchange, a 30-year-old woman rear-ended the car in front of her, injuring her 29-year-old passenger who was treated at the scene.

Traffic then quickly backed up. About a kilometer behind the first accident, two more occurred simultaneously at the tail end of the traffic jam. A 24-year-old was unable to brake in time and hit the car in front. A 23-year-old behind him managed to brake in time, but a 33-year-old following on a motorcycle did not.

He attempted to swerve right and collided with the car on the right, causing both him and his 32-year-old passenger to be thrown onto the highway. Both were injured and taken to a hospital by ambulance.

At the construction site where the road narrowed, the fourth accident occurred. Here too, a 42-year-old rear-ended another car, whose driver had to brake more sharply.

The police arrived at the scene of the simultaneous accidents on the A7, assisting in managing the traffic and gathering information about the incidents. After receiving treatment, the 33-year-old motorcyclist was questioned by the police about the accident.
