Fortuna must do without Marcel Sobottka for the time being

Second-division soccer team Fortuna Düsseldorf will be without midfielder Marcel Sobottka until further notice. The 29-year-old suffered a torn muscle fiber in his right thigh on Saturday in the match against FC Schalke 04 (5:3). This was announced by Fortuna on Wednesday. Sobottka had to be substituted at the start of the second half against his former club.

Fortuna Düsseldorf's efforts in Bundesliga 2 may be impacted without Marcel Sobottka, as he's currently sidelined due to a torn muscle fiber. Regrettably, Sobottka was forced to leave the game against FC Schalke 04 early, midway through the second half.
