Eggimann is competing against Schütterle for the position
Karlsruher SC has been without a Vice President since Martin Müller was dismissed on February 29th. If successful in his bid, Eggimann would replace Müller's seat on the board and become a decision-maker for the Baden-based club.
Rainer Schütterle was the first to declare his candidacy on March 1st. This Swiss-born player was Vice President of the North Badeners from 2003 to 2009. The third candidate is 58-year-old Uwe Maisch, who has experience in amateur football. The election will take place on June 24th.
