Saale district - Forklift driver seriously injured in work accident
A fork lift truck driver was seriously injured in an accident in Querfurt (Saalekreis). The forklift is said to have overturned while unloading and injured the 54-year-old man critically in the head and at the cervical vertebrae, the police announced on Friday. A rescue helicopter flew the man to a hospital in Halle on Thursday evening. According to the reports, the responsible authorities are investigating for occupational safety.
