Following three initial setbacks, Ulm continues to endure a scorching run of form.

Unfazed by the current season's outcomes, lower-league team SSV Ulm 1846 remains undeterred. Their manager, Wörle, encourages persistence and continued effort in preparation for their upcoming match against Düsseldorf.

- Following three initial setbacks, Ulm continues to endure a scorching run of form.

Trainer Thomas Wörle stays calm despite SSV Ulm 1846's rocky start to the season. He and his squad are still "blazing hot" and "completely fired up," according to him, before the 2. Bundesliga home game against Fortuna Düsseldorf on Sunday (13:30 CET, live on Sky). Promoted Ulm is yet to earn a single point after the first two matchdays and also suffered an early elimination in the DFB-Pokal against German record champions FC Bayern Munich (0:4) last weekend.

Three back-to-back losses in competitive games are "uncommon" for Ulm, Wörle admitted, "without a doubt." However, they had anticipated such a situation before the season. "We knew beforehand that this could happen. We're not oblivious," said the 42-year-old. Ulm's promotion year was "amazing," but they had always acknowledged that the second league would be "a massive challenge."

Wörle can't be pleased with the current results, but his team's performances give him some hope, at least in some phases. They need to be patient and wait for the payoffs in the form of points, said the coach. And of course, keep giving their best.

Despite the rocky start, SSV Ulm 1846's soccer team remains passionate, as Trainer Thomas Wörle described them as "blazing hot" and "completely fired up." Despite the team's struggles, they have yet to lose their love for the beautiful game, continually giving their best on the field.
