The arson incident that took place in the basement of a multi-family house in the Altenkirchen district two days ago still has mysterious details. From the current police investigations, family conflicts might have triggered the incident, the authorities in Betzdorf revealed on Monday. The 36-year-old man who was initially arrested in Mudersbach on Saturday afternoon was later released the next morning. Fortunately, the six people living in the house located in the Niederschelderhütte district were unharmed.
