On Friday, locals in the town of Schäplitz, a part of Bismark, joined efforts to remove mud from their streets. In the Salzlandkreis, more incidents occurred, such as in the town of Nelben, which is under Könnern's jurisdiction. In this area, homes were flooded, according to the Salzlandkreis's control center.
