In the regions of the Black Elster and Pulsnitz in southern Brandenburg, close to the border with Saxony, floods are occurring. The Ortrand gauge (in the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district) has issued a warning at level 1, as stated by the State Environment Agency's website. This indicates that the flooding will likely impact meadows and riverbank plants. For the other rivers, there were no flood alerts on Tuesday. Nevertheless, the scenario in southern Germany remained critical. Multiple districts declared emergencies, and as of now, five casualties have been reported.
