After storms - Flooding on the Saalbach river: sandbags for Karlsdorf
Flooding on the Saalbach River in Karlsruhe district continues to occupy emergency services early in the morning. Apart from Gondelsheim and Bruchsal, Karlsdorf-Neuthard is now also the focus of the fire department and the Technical Relief Agency (THW). To protect a residential area in the Karlsdorf district, sandbags have been installed at the relief canal of the Saalbach, the district fire department association announced.
The fire department and the Technical Relief Agency (THW) have also been deployed to address potential fire hazards in the flooded Karlsdorf district due to the ongoing situation.
