The Bavarian Flood Warning Service (HND) anticipates higher water levels at different spots along the Danube today. These forecasts are primarily in the first and second warning levels of one and two, with the water retreating again on Wednesday. The western part of the Danube in Bavaria, from the vicinity of Donauwörth, has already reached the end of the initial warning level.
The German Weather Service forecasts "little rainfall at the Alpine fringe" in the forthcoming days, indicating that the situation could get even calmer, as announced by HND.
