Thunderstorms and rain in Trier caused flooding and disrupted traffic. The city announced today that a creek in the Biewer district overflowed on Tuesday evening, flooding the county road 5. Around ten basements were flooded, and several trees were uprooted. The fire department was on the scene with 100 personnel. Although the situation eased overnight, operations by the fire department and the Technical Relief Agency continued. County road 5 remained closed. So far, no injuries have been reported due to the storms.

The city experienced persistent thunderstorms and heavy rain, leading to the flooding of more than ten basements. Despite the storm subsiding, county road 5 still remained closed due to the aftermath of the thunderstorm.
