Weather - Flood situation eases: water levels falling everywhere
The flood situation in Bavaria has largely calmed down. On Friday morning, the flood information service (HVZ) recorded falling water levels in all bodies of water, as a spokeswoman for the HVZ explained. The all-clear is expected from the start of the week: "Towards Monday, we no longer have any more flood levels anywhere".
No rain is expected for the weekend either, according to the German Weather Service (DWD). Saturday will initially start with cloudy skies, but the clouds should clear in the afternoon near the Alps. Sunday will also start cloudy for the time being. While there will be plenty of sunshine near the Alps, it will be cloudy in many places. After a foggy start, Monday is expected to be sunny. Highs will be a mild 13 degrees.
