Flight traffic is running again in Frankfurt after protest action by Climate Activists

The air traffic was temporarily halted on Thursday morning due to the protest action. Several activists, according to the Federal Police, had managed to reach the airport perimeter. The group Last Generation declared that they had gained access to the airport grounds.

The protest action by climate activists in Frankfurt am Main involved a blockade of the airport, resulting in the disruption of air traffic. This was not the first time such activists had taken action in Frankfurt, as they have often voiced their concerns about climate change. Despite the police's attempts to prevent the activists from reaching the airport perimeter, several members successfully managed to conduct their protest within the grounds.
