German Football Association Cup - Fixed DFB Cup Dates: Ulm Opposes Bayern on Free Broadcasting
Vincent Kompany's first match as FC Bayern's coach will air live on free TV. The German Football Association made this announcement on Thursday. ZDF will broadcast the Munich team's Bundesliga clash against SSV Ulm in the DFB-Pokal on Friday, 16th August, at 8:45 pm.
Sky, the pay-TV broadcaster, will show all 32 games of the first round live, including FC Augsburg against FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin and 1. FC Nürnberg versus 1. FC Saarbrücken, which will both take place on Sunday, 18th August, at 1:00 pm.
Würzburger Kickers, a regional league side, will kick off the action on Friday against TSG Hoffenheim (6:00 pm). SPDVGG Greuther Fürth, a second division team, will travel to TSV Schott Mainz on Saturday, 17th August (1:00 pm). FC Ingolstadt will host 1. FC Kaiserslautern soon after (3:30 pm). New second division team Jahn Regensburg will face VfL Bochum on Sunday (3:30 pm).
