Incidents of Mishaps - Five people sustained injuries during a traffic accident on the A4.

A traffic collision occurred on the A4 motorway, between the exits Wildeck-Hönebach and Friedewald. The incident happened around 3:25 PM and involved a minibus colliding with a trailer. The 25-year-old driver of the minibus that had 5 passengers on board allegedly failed to see the tractor-trailer in front of him. Sadly, the impact of the crash resulted in five people being injured, and some of them became trapped in the minibus. The fire department had to free them.

Consequently, a section of the motorway towards Friedewald was shut down for several hours, and the authorities called in reinforcements. This team included the fire department, ambulance service, and the police. Two rescue helicopters were also deployed to aid in the rescue operations. The damage is estimated to be 40,000 euros. A forensic expert will investigate the cause of the accident.
