Five injured in car crash

A driver is suspected of failing to yield to another vehicle at an intersection, resulting in an accident in which a child was injured.

- Five injured in car crash

In a car accident in the district of Ludwigslust-Parchim, five people were injured - two of them severely. A 21-year-old, according to initial findings, failed to yield at a junction on a country road near Neustadt-Glewe, resulting in a collision with another car. The 37-year-old driver and the 26-year-old passenger were severely injured and had to be airlifted to the hospital. A nine-year-old child in the same car sustained minor injuries, as did the driver at fault and their 22-year-old passenger.

Following the car accident, authorities are investigating the cause to prevent similar incidents. Despite the severe injuries, the victims are currently receiving appropriate medical care to facilitate a speedy recovery.
