In a chilling car crash in the Main-Kinzig district, five individuals ended up injured. As per the police's account, this high-impact accident happened due to a head-on collision between two vehicles.

This unfortunate incident occurred around noon on the state road 3008. The 29-year-old driver, for reasons yet to be unveiled, veered off the road close to Schöneck-Kilianstädten and collided directly with an oncoming vehicle. As a result, the 34-year-old driver of the second car and her two minor children, aged one and seven, suffered severe injuries.

The one-year-old sustained serious head trauma and had to be airlifted to a hospital. The seven-year-old boy was transported to a hospital via ambulance due to multiple leg fractures. The driver and his 26-year-old passenger were also taken to hospitals nearby, both suspected to be dealing with internal bleeding and multiple injuries.

An expert was summoned to piece together the series of events, and both cars, heavily damaged, were seized. Total damages are estimated to amount to 50,000 euros. The road was closed for traffic from midday until roughly 16:45.

The chilling car crash occurred along the Main-Kinzig-Kreis's state road 3008. The high-impact collision between two vehicles took place near Schöneck-Kilianstädten, which is situated within the Main-Kinzig district.
