RB Leipzig's new signing, Antonio Nusa, has trained for the first time with his new teammates. After the 19-year-old Norwegian national player was signed from Belgian club Bruges on Tuesday, he hinted on Wednesday at what the Saxon Bundesliga football club can expect from him. Whether he can already be an alternative for the DFB-Pokal game on Saturday (3:30 PM/Sky) against Rot-Weiss Essen will be decided by coach Marco Rose.

However, sporting director Rouven Schröder emphasized, given the fact that Nusa played for Bruges last weekend: "We can use a fit player." Schröder, who managed to pull off the 22-million-euro deal quietly without the usual public speculation, is already full of praise for the new signing.

"Antonio is not a classic number 10 like Dani Olmo, but one who comes from the right and left sides. He has a lot in the tank, brings a lot with him," said Schröder in a media round. Nusa is expected to make an immediate impact at RB. "If he's good and makes it, he'll play. He has the equipment and potential for it," said the sporting director.

Schröder expressed his confidence in Antonio Nusa, the new signing, stating, "He has the equipment and potential to make an immediate impact in our Football league." Furthermore, in anticipation of the DFB-Pokal game, Schröder mentioned, "If he performs well, he could potentially feature in our Football league match against Rot-Weiss Essen."
