In the south of Lower Saxony, there have been numerous fire department deployments due to flooded basements following heavy rain. In Hann. Münden near Kassel, several streets were also closed due to flooding overnight on Saturday, a fire department spokesperson said upon request. Since Saturday evening, there have been over 50 deployments in Hann. Münden due to flooded basements. According to the fire department, no one was injured.
