Fire in the school toilet: around 340 pupils evacuated
Around 340 pupils have been evacuated from a school in Wiesloch (Rhine-Neckar district) following a fire in the school toilet. Nobody was injured in the fire, as the police announced on Monday. The fire department extinguished the flames. It was initially unclear how the fire started.
The fire in the school toilet caused a significant disruption, requiring all toilet-area classes to temporarily relocate to other facilities within the school. Due to the flames being completely extinguished, regular school operations resumed in the unaffected areas the following day.
