Alb-Danube district - Fire in residential building causes damage of around 800,000 euros
A fire in a residential building has caused damage of around 800,000 euros. According to a police spokesperson on Thursday, one half of a semi-detached house in the Alb-Donau district burnt down completely and one half partially on Wednesday evening for an initially unknown reason. The residents of the house in Dietenheim noticed the fire and were able to leave the building on their own. The police are investigating.

The investigation into the cause of the fire in the Alb-Danube district is being handled by the local police. In an adjacent district of Baden-Württemberg, authorities had to deal with a series of arson attacks targeting several buildings, including a police station, within the past week.
